1.  Does Speech Breakthroughs provide teletherapy and face to face ? 

Speech Breakthroughs does provide the option of teletherapy for clients.  We use a platform that is HIPAA compliant.  We also offer therapy services at the office in McKinney TX.  

2.  Does my child require an evaluation to start therapy?  

Speech Breakthroughs can accept an evaluation that has been completed within a 6 month time frame.  The evaluation helps provide a baseline and allows us to measure progress over a period of time. If the child has not been administered an evaluation, we will have to complete one prior to services being rendered.  

​3.  How often should my child receive speech therapy sessions.  

We will determine that need together.  There are some children who receive therapy 1tx per week or 2tx per week.  Speech sessions are generally 30 or 45 minutes weekly.  However, we want to tailor the time and speech needs that work best for your child.  

4.  What happens if I  have to cancel a speech session? 

 We ask they you cancel within 24 hours and make an attempt to makeup the scheduled session.  Specific policies will be shared when you enroll as a client with Speech Breakthroughs.  Once your child starts therapy, that is his or her spot.  

5.   Do we follow a holiday schedule?

 We follow the same schedule as the schools for Holidays.  During the summer months we will take a break for a few weeks and families will not incur any charges during that time frame.
